AI Workshop for Teaching, Learning and Assessment in FET
This workshop builds upon a previous session (22 October 2024), where the TEL and QA support services in LCETB College of FET showcased how they came together to develop a coordinated strategic approach to the adoption and use of AI. In this workshop, we will take a closer, hands on look at specific AI tools and how they can be applied to enhance teaching, learning, and assessment in practical ways. AI can streamline lesson planning, personalise learning experiences, and support ongoing assessment and we will demonstrate hands-on examples of how these tools can be integrated into classroom practices to improve student engagement and outcomes. Along with practical applications, criticality will feature throughout our exploration of AI use.
Target audience: All FET educators and particularly those involved in teaching, learning and assessment.
