Working Interculturally, Promoting Integration (October, Online)

The purpose of this two-part online workshop is four-fold. It will offer a number of opportunities:

  • To explore and reflect on how you have been shaped by your own culture, and how others are shaped by theirs
  • To learn about, become familiar with, and explore some of the thinking and principles behind an approach to intercultural work
  • To experience exercises and processes you might use with others
  • To consider ways in which you might use these resources and insights in your context

The two-part workshop will be as participative and experiential as possible through the virtual medium of Zoom. In order to take account of people’s different experience of learning, and diversity of learning styles, the facilitators will use a variety of methods and resources. You will get the most out of the experience if you have access to a computer or a laptop for the duration of the Zoom sessions.

The target audience for this event is: FET Staff including teachers, tutors, trainers, co-ordinators, managers. Participants must log in to both sessions.

Facilitation: This event will be hosted by FESS and facilitated by Jacqui Gage and Zoryana Pshyk, Partners Training for Transformation.
